Manley Baptist Church break-in leads to charges against local man

     A suspect in a break-in at Manley Baptist Church has now been charged.

     On February 2, the Morristown Police Department was notified that two suspects had gained access to the church.  Both suspects were wearing face coverings and gloves at the time of the burglary.  A cabinet was forced open at the church concession area and $25 reported stolen from a cash box.

     Investigators believe the perpetrators were one male and one female suspect. Formal charges were lodged against 22 year old Austin Trey Murray.  Following an investigation by the Morristown Police Department, Murray is 12 counts of burglary, 11 counts of theft, 10 counts of vandalism, and 8 counts of contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
