Nearly 5 million COVID vaccines distributed in Tennessee

The state of Tennessee is approaching five million total COVID-19 vaccines distributed, with just over one-third of residents 12 and older now fully vaccinated.

According to the latest information from the Tennessee Department of Health, 4.98 million vaccinations have been reported. 2.3 million residents have completed their series, with an additional 377,000 having received the first of the two-dose vaccines. According to the state figures, exactly 40 percent of the state’s residents 12 and older have received one dose, and 34.5 percent are fully vaccinated.
