Man arrested at Bulls Gap motel wanted for attempted murder

     A man wanted out-of-state for attempted murder was arrested in Bulls Gap motel on Monday.

     The Greene County Sheriff’s Department responded to the Super 8 motel on Speedway Lane after receiving a call from a detective in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina that a fugitive may be at the hotel.  A deputy arrested 45-year-old Timothy Player of Kingstree, South Carolina, who was wanted for attempted murder, possession of a weapon during a violent crime and assault and battery, and being a fugitive from justice.
