SafeSpace to pick up cases for CEASE

A Sevier County-based agency will be picking up some of the slack after CEASE closed its doors last week.
For anyone needing domestic violence assistance, you can contact SafeSpace. SafeSpace is a safe, secure, and confidentially located shelter.
The shelter services we provide are comprehensive and specifically designed to anticipate the needs of victims in crisis.

The SafeSpace hotline is staffed 24 hours per day, 365 days a year. It is a source for information, support, and referrals for victims
of domestic violence or those concerned for a friend or family member in an abusive situation.
The number is 1-800-244-5968.
Their website is safespace tn dot org.
Safe space will be providing temporary services in Hamblen and Grainger County – receiving federal
grant money to provide services through the end of June.
