TCAT receives $1 Million grant from Gov. Lee

Governor Bill Lee announced Friday that the Tennessee College of Applied Technology in Morristown will be the recipient of a $1 million Governor’s Investment in Vocational Education grant.

The GIVE grant will help TCAT expand several of its programs that assist with dual enrollment classes with area high schools.

Some of the money will also go to assist in the purchase of new equipment during its current $14 million expansion.

The grant was received on behalf of the Five Rivers Partnership for Future Ready Pathways program.
