MORRISTOWN, Tenn. — The 2019 David Shelton Baseball Camp will be held on June 3-7 at Ken Campbell Field on the Walters State campus in Morristown , from 9 a.m. until noon each day for campers ages 6-13.
Check-in time on Monday will be 8:30 a.m. The primary goal of the camp is to help each camper fulfill their maximum baseball potential during a fun-filled week of camp. No superstar campers are expected, but rather young people who are interested in learning and improving fundamental techniques that will improve his baseball skills.
Instructors in addition to Shelton will be Walters State assistant coaches and baseball players. It will be a fun, action-packed week of baseball.
Each camper must furnish their own bat and glove. Balls will be furnished. Each camper will receive a T-shirt on the final day of camp. The concession stand will be open each day.
The camp fee is $100 per camper if registered before May 29. The fee is $125 if registering after that date. Registration forms are available through the Walters State athletics website at www.wsccathletics.com or at the Walters State athletics offices adjacent to ‘Z’ Buda Gymnasium and Assembly Hall on the Morristown campus.
